For the next play in our Staged Reading series, we bring you Whole In The Head – a brand new play by local actress and writer Johanne Wang-Holm.

It isn’t always logical what we remember or why. The process almost seems not to concern us, until the day you can’t recall what the porcelain seat in the bathroom was designed for. And what of your family? Is there still romance when the man you fell in love with becomes an endlessly looping here-and-now? And what if your own father has erased you, only the memory of your seventh birthday left linked to the echo of your name?

Built upon a physical embodiment of Alzheimer’s inner workings, this play captures the moment where a whole life can slip through your fingers. How do we stay true, how do we even manage simple interactions, when the choices we make can be rewritten every second? A play that brings memory to life physically, as the loss of it alters one family’s reality. For these three characters, illness is not someone else’s problem.

Featuring: Jens Blegaa, Emmeli Stjärnfeldt, Casper Hamalainen

The performance is without charge for season pass holders. Ordinary tickets 50 kr.
